Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Printer Repair Technician with 2 to 7 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing various types of printers. The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge of printer hardware, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. This role involves on-site visits, equipment handling, and providing technical support to ensure minimal downtime for clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair inkjet, laser, dot matrix, and multifunction printers.

  • Perform regular maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of printers.

  • Replace defective components such as rollers, cartridges, drums, and fusers.

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients as needed.

  • Maintain accurate records of service calls, parts used, and repair details.

  • Coordinate with vendors or service partners for spare parts and escalations.

  • Advise clients on printer care and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary.

  • Ensure proper functioning of printers in office environments or client locations.


Key Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of various printer brands and models (HP, Canon, Epson, Brother, etc.).

  • Hands-on experience in printer troubleshooting and repairs.

  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking (for network printers).

  • Ability to read technical manuals and diagnose issues accurately.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel for on-site repairs (if required).
