Role Overview

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable ETL pipelines. You will work closely with senior data engineers and analysts to ensure the quality, availability, and accuracy of data for various business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL pipelines using tools such as SSIS or custom SQL scripts.

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and views for data extraction and transformation.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows to ensure reliability and performance.

• Work with structured and semi-structured data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.).

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through rigorous validation and quality checks.

• Document data workflows, processes, and system architecture.

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on experience in ETL tools like SSIS or similar.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and transformation.

• Familiarity with data integration between multiple systems and platforms.

• Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.

• Understanding of data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, ADF) is a bonus.
