Sr. Exec Purchase

Job Description:

Job Purpose: The candidate shall be responsible for Managing production store area for Deburring and Metal
finishing abrasive brushing machine manufacturers.

Responsibilities: Responsible for:

1. Procurement activities to perform to execute production activity in time.
2. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
through Vendor Development.
3. Purchase order making for all purchases. I.e. vendor developed items, brought-out
items etc.
4. Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
5. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
6. Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
7. Examine and test existing contracts.
8. Use of MS office (MS excel) / Company ERP to take all data in to system.
9. Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve
effectiveness
10. Collaborate with key persons in production / Design to ensure clarity of the
specifications and expectations of the company.
11. Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients.
12. Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies.
13. Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
14. Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
15. Need to perform any additional task given by management time to time

Requisite Skills:

1. Understanding of Technical Design Drawings, MS office skills. i.e. MS Excel.
2. Strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and
positioning
3. Analytical skills
4. Interpersonal Skills
5. People Skills

Desired Skills:

1. Good Verbal & Written communication.
2. Proactive.

Education: Graduate. Preferred in Diploma / BE mechanical.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 2-3 years from Procurement in industrial Production.
