Graphic Designer
Website & Landing Page Design
•Design website banners, hero images, homepage sections, category page banners, and promotional pop-ups for VapeGlo's Shopify store — optimized for both desktop and mobile
•Create landing page layouts for product launches, seasonal promotions (4/20, Black Friday, New Year deals), and new brand campaigns
•Design CTA buttons, badges ("New", "Best Seller", "Limited Edition"), and UI micro-elements that improve conversion rate
•Ensure all web graphics are exported and optimized for web performance (correct file formats, compression, retina resolution)
Product Image Optimization & Retouching
•Retouch and optimize raw product photos for e-commerce: clean white backgrounds, color correction, shadow/reflection effects, and consistency across the catalogue
•Create lifestyle-style composite images combining product photos with backgrounds, props, and textures to tell a visual story for US audiences
•Produce multiple image variants per product: main listing image, thumbnail, close-up detail shots, and lifestyle versions
•Maintain a consistent visual language across all product imagery — disposable vapes, e-liquids, pod systems, nicotine pouches, and accessories
•Resize and reformat product images for different platforms: website, emailers, social media, and any marketplace listings
Advertising & Promotional Creatives
•Design banner ads for compliant programmatic advertising channels and age-verified ad networks that permit vaping product promotion
•Create promotional graphics for affiliate partners, influencer campaign assets (story frames, feed post templates, YouTube banners), and discount code announcements
•Design display ad sets in multiple standard sizes (leaderboard, rectangle, skyscraper, mobile banner) for adult content networks and endemic vape publications
•Create urgency-driven sale creatives: countdown banners, limited-time offer graphics, bundle deal visuals
Email & SMS Visual Design
•Design responsive, visually rich email templates in Klaviyo or Mailchimp — including promotional blasts, product launch emails, abandoned cart emails, welcome series, and seasonal campaigns
•Create HTML email-compatible designs that render correctly across Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, and mobile clients
•Design SMS campaign visual assets where applicable (MMS creatives, link preview images)
•Build and maintain a library of reusable email modules (headers, product blocks, CTA sections, footers) that the marketing team can assemble quickly
Social Media Creatives
•Design static and animated social media graphics for organic posts across Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, Reddit, and Discord — all tailored to US vape audience aesthetics
•Create Instagram feed posts, Instagram Stories frames, YouTube channel art and thumbnails, Twitter/X header graphics, and Reddit banner/avatar assets
•Design UGC (user-generated content) repost templates that maintain brand consistency while celebrating customer content
•Produce animated GIFs and short looping motion graphics for social posts and website banners using After Effects or Photoshop timeline
•Ensure all social creatives meet platform-specific dimension and file size requirements
Brand Identity & Asset Management
•Maintain and evolve VapeGlo's brand guidelines: typography, color palette, logo usage rules, and design language for the US market
•Build and manage a structured digital asset library (organized product images, logos, brand elements, templates) so the marketing team can access assets independently
•Create brand-consistent packaging concepts and label designs for new products (coordinating with suppliers for print specifications)
•Design pitch decks, one-pagers, and media kits for influencer and affiliate outreach
Additional Design Support
•Design promotional merchandise concepts (stickers, inserts, box wraps) for order fulfilment
•Create visual assets for blog posts, buying guides, and educational content on the website
•Support seasonal campaign planning with mood boards, visual concepts, and design mockups for review before execution
•Stay updated on US vaping industry visual trends, competitor brand aesthetics, and emerging design trends relevant to the target audience
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
•2–3 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with at least one e-commerce, lifestyle, FMCG, or consumer product brand
•Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop — product retouching, background removal, compositing, colour grading, and image optimization for web
•Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator — vector artwork, logo creation, icon design, and preparing print-ready files
•Experience designing email templates in Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or any major ESP; understanding of HTML email constraints (inline CSS, table-based layout, image-to-text ratio)
•Proficiency in Figma for web and UI-adjacent design work, component-based design systems, and sharing designs with developers
•Experience creating animated GIFs and basic motion graphics (Photoshop timeline, After Effects, or similar)
•Strong understanding of e-commerce visual hierarchy: how product pages, banners, and CTAs should be laid out to maximise clicks and conversions
•Solid grasp of digital design specifications: resolution (72dpi vs 300dpi), colour modes (RGB vs CMYK), file formats (PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG, GIF), and compression best practices
•Experience producing assets across multiple sizes and formats from a single design brief
•A portfolio demonstrating work across web banners, social media graphics, email templates, and product images — e-commerce work strongly preferred
•Ability to take direction from brief and deliver polished work independently with minimal revision cycles
•Basic understanding that vaping product visuals for the US market must never depict minors, cannot make health or comparative claims, and should look premium and mature — willingness to operate within these creative guidelines
NICE TO HAVE
•Experience designing for vaping, tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, or other adult consumer product brands
•Basic video editing skills for short product reels or social media clips (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar)
•Knowledge of Shopify's image upload requirements and understanding of how product images affect SEO (alt text, file naming)
•Understanding of US design aesthetics vs. Indian market design preferences — ability to adapt visual style for a western audience
•Experience with print design: label templates, product inserts, packaging dielines
•Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles for advising on button placement, layout, and visual hierarchy on web pages
